Hello from sunny California!

Hello from sunny California!

I have been good… just doing work for the lord.

The last week was good, we went to a referral and I hope that with him I can better my teaching. The part member families are receptive but we are just working with FHE with them.

The ward is treating us good they feed us every night and are really cool.

No new experiences this week just trying to work and study hard.

I have read 2 of the 3 talks you sent me. I am on “a reservoir of living water” article by Elder Bednar right now. The other 2 were really good about how we need to use faith to study and teach and that is something I have been trying to work on.

Thanks for all you do and love all of you and my favorite sister and I will talk to you next week.

hey also it was really cool Elder L. Whitney Clayton http://lds.org/church/leader/l-whitney-clayton?lang=eng came to the mission and spoke to all of the missionaries and it was just like a Q&A it was really cool he talked about how we can get more baptisms in our areas and the ways to do it and he talked to the recent converts( anyone baptized less than 1 year) that wanted to come yesterday that was good as well. Just thought I would tell you that.

Bye and love all of you

mormon.org

If you are wondering why I didn’t email yesterday it’s because the library was closed on Monday for the holiday.

Last week was good. Elder Correa was a little sick so we stayed home on Saturday and Sunday but he is better now, it was good other than that. It gave me some time to study the scriptures. We don't really have any one we are teaching right now. The one thing we are doing is talking a lot about Mormon.org we had a big push from President Baker about it.

Yes, that is a kite in one of the pictures.

pics from Malaga Cove

Hey from the FHL

Hey from the FHL (Family History Library). Today was temple p-day so I am emailing from the FHL.

I am doing well. The new area is OK. There is some work for us to do but we should be good. We are excited. The work we are doing is a little different. We are going to be working with part member families. I kind of like it. We are not doing a lot of tracting (at least not yet).

I miss the people of the Palisades ward but the Malaga cove ward is good too. We get fed the same… about every day.

I do have the beach in my area again and also the pacific coast highway.

I 'm in a bike area but we have a car. I’m good with that.

Elder Correa is going home in March so he has one more transfer left. He is good to work with.

Thanks for all your support; I am trying to lose myself in the work.

With love, Elder Waldvogel and love to you, my favorite sister!

Transfers were last Wednesday

Transfers were last Wednesday.
Did you get transferred?
Did I get transferred …that is a good question what do you think?

Hello from Malaga Cove!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yup I got transferred my new comp is Elder Correa he is from Florida. We got flushed or whited washed into the area (both Elders are new to the area)… its going to be fun. I think this is going to be a time for me to grow. It should be good. Our area is much smaller now it’s kinda by Torrance you can look it up on Google maps.

Malibu was great for the 6 months was there,I loved the people, but I’m very excited to be in this new area. It too is near the coast.

Rain, Rain nothing but rain a few days ago. That is all that has happened for us.

Was your trip down to California good? Next time you should come this way and stop at the Visitor Center. lol

yea I remember last year at Christmas that we had to wait a few days to take off because of the weather. That’s good you left early to get good weather to drive up and over Donner Pass.
